We will advise you extensively on how to integrate source tagging into the production process and what you have to watch out for.

Our offer includes the following Source Tagging options.

An EAS system consists of three components:

An EAS system consists of three components:

• Labels or hard tags
• Deactivators and detachers
• Antennas systems

At the checkout, labels are deactivated, or hard tags are removed from products by Detacher. At the exit of the store there are the antenna systems, which creates a surveillance area. In case of theft, the labels and tags trigger an alarm signal which is received there by the antenna systems.

Choose between four EAS technologies:

  • RF (Radio Frequency)
  • AM (Acousto-Magnetic)
  • EM (Electromagnetic)
  • RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)

EAS RF is the most widely used safety system in the world, which is characterized by its high reliability. The transmitter sends a signal that varies between 7.4 and 8.8 MHz.

AM hard tags are mainly used for textiles, shoes and bottles. AM Labels are often used for cosmetic products due to their slim design. They also offer a longer transmission range than RF systems. The transmitter emits a high frequency signal with a frequency of 8 KHz.

The RFID reader generates a magnetic or electromagnetic field, which the transponder receives and transmits. Low-frequency RFID systems (30 kHz to 500 KHz) have short transmission ranges (generally less than six feet). High-frequency RFID systems (850 MHz to 950 Mhz and 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz) offer longer transmission ranges (more than 90 feet).

This product search also works in the warehouse. RFID equipment makes it easy to check and change the location of products. This is made possible by RFID readers on the forklift, which can pick up a pallet and take it to the desired storage location.

Customized security

You can customize any of our labels or hard tags to suit your needs and industry: discreetly protect high-value products with hidden labels and tags, or obviously display them on your products to deter theft, such as on display items.
