EAS AM – Hard Tags

Intelligent anti theft and display hard tags.

We offer a wide variety of AM hard tags for different applications, mainly for textiles, shoes and bottles. They come in different forms and sizes to fit the given requirements.

Hard Tags are a reliable more secure anti-theft solution than paper hang tags or sew in label. They are easy to apply, with good performance and are reusable. The most common hard tags consist the hard tag itself and a pin to secure the tag to the product.

Alternatively a lanyard in different lengths can be used when a pin is more difficult to use. E.g. on shoes a hard tag with lanyard is more easy to apply than a pin. But there are also other hard tags such as bottle tags.

An AM hard Tag is a visible and more secure ani-theft device than paper hang tags or sew in label. It consists a thermoplastic resin housing with a pin or lanyard,  there are also bottle tags.

Hard tags are simple to use. If the hard tag has a pin or lanyard just insert the needle into the hole of the hard tag body. The pin will lock at once. To unlock the pin you need to use a magnetic detacher. Bottletags have a lock mechanism depending on the model type. A bottle tag will also be unlocked with a magnetic  detacher.

EAS AM – Labels

We offer AM label for different applications as standard, with foam, in a plastic pouch or with a larger selfadhesive area.

AM label offer excellent detection performance with a longer transmitting range than RF systems. They have a slim design and are well suited for cosmetic products.

AM Label are made of magnetiostrictive ferromagnetic amorphous metal strip and magnetic strip inside . On the outside is a plastic housing with dummy barcode an a selfadhesive on the bottom.

They can de delivered on sheets for hand application or on large roll format for automatic application. Due to the selfadhesive on the back, they can be easily attached to any product. In combination with our Am antenna system you have an effective anti-shoplifting system.

EAS AM – Systems

Brand new design.

RAKO‘s brand new AM system has been developed with careful consideration of the current market needs and trends. The system allows for a universal configuration that enables optimization of the installation cost and number of antennas needed to secure the store.

EAS AM – Systems

Our main board consist of a TX part and includes in total three receiver slots. You can combine a TRX (MONO) with up to two additional receivers or you can set the system to a TXRX mode to achieve a DUAL functionality.

The system is ready to be used with our RAKO SPHERE online platform in order to provide you with full remote tuning functionality.

The remote tuning concept allows mainly for service purposes.

An EAS system consists one mono antenna as stand alone or several dual antennas to complement each other. Just plug them in, and they are ready to go.

Acousto-magnetic EAS systems use a transmitter to create a surveillance area where tags and labels are detected. The transmitter sends a radio frequency signal at a frequency of  58 KHz (thousand of cycles per second), but the frequency is sent in pulses. The transmit signal energizes a tag in the surveillance zone. When the transmit signal pulse ends, the tag responds, emitting a single frequency signal like a tuning fork. The tag signal is at about the same frequency as the transmitter signal.

While the transmitter is often between pulses, the tag signal is detected by a receiver. A microcomputer checks the tag signal detected by the receiver to ensure it is at the right frequency, occurs in time synchronized to the transmitter , at the proper level, and at the correct repetition rate. If the criteria is met, an alarm occurs.

The antennas just need power supply and you are ready to go. The antennas have a predefined setting ex works. Depending on the store enviroment or possible interferences from other stores they can be also fine tuned to the desired performance.

Acousto Magnetic – AM is a traditional retail security technologie. It transmit 50-90 pulses per second at 58 kHz. It is a very reliable system with a long range signal. We offer customized AM label for every enviroment and application.

We also have a wide range of hard tags and AM antenna systems.
