RF is a traditional security sytem for retail purposes. It uses a transmitter to create a surveillance where tags and labels are detected.

The transmitter sends a signal that varies between 7.4 and 8.8 Mhz (millions of cycles per second), which is why it is called swept; is sweeps over a range of frequencies. It is the most used security system in the world.

The transmitter signal energizes the swept-rf tag or label, which is composed of a circuit containing a capacitor and an inductor or coil, both of which store electrical energy. When connected together in a loop, the components can pass energy back and forth or “resonate”. The frequency at which the circuit resonates is controlled by matching the storage capacity of the coil and capacitor. The tag responds by emitting a signal that is detected by a receiver. In addition to the small tag signal, the receiver also responds to the much larger transmitter signal. By detecting a phase difference between these two signals, and other properties of the tag signal, the receiver recognizes of a tag and generates an alarm.

In order to use RF you need RF label or hard tags and combine them with our RF antenna system range. They all transmid a signal between 7.4 – 8.8 MHz.

EAS RF – HARD TAG.

We are producing a wide variety of RF hard tags for different applications, mainly for textiles, shoes and bottles. They come in different forms and sizes to fit the given requirements.

Hard Tags are a reliable more secure anti-theft solution than paper hang tags or sew in label. They are easy to apply, with good performance and are reusable. The most common hard tags consist the hard tag itself and a pin to secure the tag to the product.

Alternatively a lanyard in different lengths can be used when a pin is more difficult to use. E.g. on shoes a hard tag with lanyard is more easy to apply than a pin. But there are also other hard tags such as bottle tags.

A RF hard Tag is a visible and more secure ani-theft device than paper hang tags or sew in label. It consists a thermoplastis resin housing with a pin or lanyard. Inside is a copper or aluminium coil or a ferite.

Hard tags are simple to use. If the hard tag has a pin or lanyard just insert the needle into the hole of the hard tag body. The pin will lock at once. To unlock the pin you need to use a magnetic detacher. Bottletags have a lock mechanism depending on the model type. A bottle tag will also be unlocked with a magnetic  detacher.

RADIO-FREQUENCY SYSTEMS

Our RF system line has been designed as variable as the current market requires. The line of antennas consists of aluminum profile frames in an open and transparent acrylic version, available with an optional advertising panel for specific clients. This range is also complemented with
a fully acrylic design antenna with integrated decoration light for the high end retailers with RGBW light panel.

Our designer frames and systems are compatible with various ADD ON products such as metal detector, people counter, IN/OUT alarm, key lock, etc. to enable various customized applications.

RAKO provides RF systems in both MONO and TXRX technologies.

RF Sytems are availble as mono antennas to use them as standalone, or as dual system where you can use multiple antennas. In order to use teh security features, you only need RF Label such as paper hangs tags, sew in label oder hard tags.

RF Deactivator LTD-200

High Speed Label Deactivator

RAKO’s high speed label deactivator combines deactivation and detection function. Due to an inbuilt beeper the deactivator allows for sound check of successful label deactivation or in case of no deactivation a constant beep will alert you that the deactivation process was unsuccessful. Due to the integrated receiving feature you can also use our LTD-200 as a tag checker. Enables connection of the single loop pad inside barcode scanners.
